Oregon provides me with a rich and rewarding life. I am a violinist with the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, and I enjoy sailing, bird watching, and hiking on the Oregon trails with family and friends. My interest in the arts and the outdoors gives me a sharp focus on maintaining quality of life in my community. My husband, Chris, and I have 2 sons, Jason and Andrew, who are professional musicians.

My previous career experience includes 23 years as a music educator.
